ONE DAY WORKSHOP 2014 - 2015
The Computer Applications & Department of Computer Science conducted One Day State Level Workshop on “PC MAINTENANCE AND TROUBLE SHOOTING” on 04.03.2015.

TWO DAY INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP 2016 - 2017
TWO DAY INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP was conducted by the Computer Applications & Department of Computer Science on the topic of “Emerging Trends in Data Mining“ from 08.09.16 to 09.09.2016. The function started with prayer song followed by the welcome Dance.
It was inaugurated by lighting the Lamp by our Principal, Vice Principal and all the Chief Guests. Mrs.S.Nagendira, Head, Department of Computer Science had welcomed the gathering.
08.09.16: Technical Session I was handled by Dr.L.Mary Immaculate Sheela, Associate Professor, College of Engineering and Technology, Dilla University, Dilla on the topic of “Data Mining Concepts and Techniques”
Technical Session II was engaged by Dr.D.Sundar, Head, Department of Computer Science, Govt. Arts and Science College, Thiruvadanai. He gave an idea about “Data Mining Techniques in Business Perspective”.
Practical session I was handled by Dr.B.Umadevi, Head, Department of Computer Science, Raja Doraisingam College, Sivagangai on the topic of “Data Mining Techniques in Business Perspective”.
09.09.16 : Technical Session III was handled by Dr.C.Balakrishnan, Asst. Professor, Alagappa Institute of Skill Development, Alagappa University, Karaikudi on the topic of “NOSQL Principles and Practices”.
Practical Session was conducted by Mr.Albert Levay, MCA, Lead MongoDB Admin, Datavail, Bangalore, on the working method of “Database Management Using MONGODB”.
Nearly 110 students from various colleges and the faculty members were participated. The function was concluded with Mrs.S.Punithamary’s, words of thanks.
ONE DAY INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP 2017 - 2018
One Day International Workshop was conducted by the Department of Computer Applications & Computer Science on “EMERGING TRENDS IN IOT” on 20.09.17. The function started with prayer song followed by the welcome Dance.
First Session handled by Dr.L.Arockiam, Dean and Associate Professor, Department of Computer Science, St.Joseph’s College, Trichy on the topic of “Introduction to IT”. He made session as an entertained one. The students were interacted enthusiastically.
Session II was occupied by Mr. R. Stephen and Mr.A. Dalvin VinothKumar, Research Scholars, Department of Computer Science, St.Joseph’s College, Trichy and addressed on the topic of “IOT Technologies and Demonstration of IOT”.
Third Session was handled by Dr.F.Sagayaraj Francis, Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Pondicherry Engineering College, Pondicherry on BIG DATA.
Nearly 130 students were participated from various colleges.. The function ended with National Anthem.
ONE DAY INTERNATIONAL SEMINAR 2018 - 2019
The Department of Computer Applications and Department of Computer Science organized an International Seminar on “Emerging Trends in Communication and Computing Technologies”.
The Programme was started with procession, prayer followed by the prayer song. Ms.Monisha Preethi, Secretary, Department of Computer Science welcomed the gathering. Our students welcomed the audience through their colourful dance. Traditionally, the Lamp was enlightened by the resource persons, Principal and the Heads of the departments. Rev.Dr. Jothimary, Principal felicitated the gathering.
Dr. L. Mary Immaculate Sheela, M.Sc., M.Tech., Ph.D., Professor Department of Information Technology, Pentecost University College, Ghana, Africa handled the first session on the topic of “Internet of Things”.
Technical Session II was handled by Dr. K. Kavitha, MCA., M.Phil., Ph.D., Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science, Mother Treasa University, Kodaikanal on the topic of “Cloud Computing for Everyone”.
Technical Session III was engaged by Dr. C. Balakrishnan, M.Sc., M.Phil., Ph.D., Assistant Professor, Alagappa Institute of Skill Development, Karaikudi, on the topic “Intelligent Infrastructure”.
Nearly 300 students and staff from various colleges including our students and staff participated and benefited through this seminar. Certificates distributed to all the participants. Finally Ms.A.Joice Caroline, Department of Computer Applications proposed the Vote of thanks. The function successfully ended with National Anthem.
INTER SCHOOL MEET 2019 - 2020
Department of Computer Applications conducted Inter-school Meet on August 07, 2019. The aim of this meet is to explore the objectives and importance of Computer Applications Programme. Invitation, Rules and Regulations, General Instructions and Programme schedule sent to the Headmasters of the schools in advance. Nearly 86 students from the following six schools participated.

The function started with Prayer song. Ms. A.Joice Caroline, III BCA welcomed the gathering. Rev. Mother. Aruna Lourdhu Mary gave the felicitation address. We conducted different kinds of competitions to evoke their abilities.

Judges minutely watched the performance of the students and gave scores according to their execution.
The Afternoon session started with the arrival of our chief guest Dr. C. Balakrishnan, Asst. Professor, Alagappa Institute of Skill Development, Karaikudi. Ms. S. Rajasri, III BCA gave the welcome address. Dr. C. Balakrishnan delivered his motivational speech about the importance of the BCA programme.
Prize winners of the events awarded by certificates and shields. Students interacted with the chief guest and clarified their doubts. Rev. Dr. S. Sabin Mary, Vice Principal encouraging them with her enthusiastic speech. Ms. Rumana Parvin, III BCA gave vote of thanks. Finally the Programme ended with the national anthem.
